Dreemport is a collaborative curation platform for writers to share what matters to them. The platform has been built from the ground up using the Laravel framework for the backend.
Curation happens through a daily competitive head to head selection method. Submissions from authors are provided a bracket in which they will almost always be viewed against another submission in the same bracket.
Authors can select to have up to 3 such selection items provided per day until they have viewed all or most of the content available for a week period. Authors also receive valuable feedback on their writing from others during this selection period.
Authors who rank high are more likely to receive rewards as distributed by the administration team.
This project has been a rewarding experience to build and has changed over time into a more refined system. Additionally, albeit from the older version features such as NFT rewards and card merge abilities are still available for older users.
The platform furthermore implements a payment system via its own token and this is interfaced via Node.js to the blockchain.
As Dreemport grows and more features are developed there is no limit to what can be built with the current stack of technologies used on the site.
